Simon O’Reilly is a composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, music video maker and cofounder of Hedge School festival His is based near the cliffs of Moher in the west of Ireland where he has his recording studio. Working with many musicians including The ConTempo Quartet, Myles O’Reilly, Rufus Nightjar, Steve Wall, Davey Spillane, Twin Headed Wolf, Kila, Luka Bloom, Susan O’Neill, and The Monks Of Glenstal amongst others. He has written music for award winning films and documentaries including Sundance award winner The Summit. He has cowritten songs with Steve Wall of The Stunning and was a cowriter on These were the days a featured track on Mic Flannery & Susan O’Neills Choice music award nominated 2021 album ‘ In the game ‘ In 2022 he curated a stage at the Body & Soul festival for Doolin Arts. He is also a member of the band APO-33 who preform live music scores to films.
